Construction and Infrastructure Law

We provide expertise in the areas of construction and infrastructure law, from both the ownership and the supply and service provider prospectives. Those matters may include the homeowner seeking basic advice on construction contracts for a new home, financing related issues and related documentation, or as complex as advice, documentation and undertaking of major infrastructure projects with government or corporate organizations. We provide advice on both the commercial and litigation aspects of these areas.

We have significant experience in construction issues and disputes, particularly relating to matters pursuant to The Builder’s Liens Act (Manitoba) and have assisted clients in the preparation, placing and prosecution of Claims for Lien as well as representing owners of properties in defending or the removal of Claims for Lien, dispute resolution processes, both in Manitoba Courts or in mediation or arbitration procedures.
